Alflon Series - PTFE
JE001 (PEEK filled PTFE)

PTFE alloyed with Polyetheretherketone polymers and reinforced with proprietary fibers. This alloy is designed for ultimate performance in extreme conditions of temperature and pressures, offering maximum performance under compression for specialty seals, oil-tool sealing-elements, ball valve seats, compressor wear rings, and medium pressure bearings. JE-001 offers the chemical resistance of PTFE, elastomeric type compliance, and the thermal resistance of PEEK.

SM-35-C (PTFE/PPS Alloy Carbon-Fiber reinforced)

PPS filled PTFE reinforced with carbon fibers and proprietary filled for improved mechanical properties. These compounds extend the application of fluoropolymers to areas with higher pressure and temperature than previously provided by standard PTFE filled products. These materials are designed for seals of all sorts, compressor component wear pads, back-up rings, and applications where PTFE tends to cold flow or extrudes under heart and pressure; recommended for temperature service up to 575oF in the presence of extreme loads up to 10,000 psi.

SM-650-HT (Polymer-Ceramic Filled Fluoropolymer)

Perfluoropolymer-based compound reinforced with polymer and ceramic fibers. SM-650-HT is designed for extreme conditions of temperature and pressure. Compression molded parts and shapes offer superior sealing and wear performance. 650-HT has been tried and proven in steam-injection, oil-field equipment seals.

SM-695-01 (Ceramic Carbon-filled Fluoropolymer)

Perfluoropolymer-based compound reinforced with proprietary ceramics and fibers specifically designed for demanding applications. Compression molded parts and shapes offer superior thermal and mechanical performance up to 675oF and 10,000 psi. SM-695-01 is suitable for SAGD service components requiring high-temperature, high-pressure, and creep resistance in steam and hydrocarbon service.

A-4025-G (Carbon Graphite-filled PTFE)

A-4025-G is carbon/graphite-filled PTFE with improved thermal and electrical conductivity. Very low coefficient of friction, excellent wear resistance in dry and wet environments while maintaining PTFE’s excellent resistance to corrosion media. A- 4025-G is the best PTFE compound for bearings, flow meter gears, compressor packings, and oil-tool sealing-elements.

Duralast Series - PPS
VR-80 (Unfilled Compression Molded PPS)

Stabilized base resin. This material has excellent chemical and environmental resistance and is not attacked by strong acids and bases. VR-80 has good electrical insulating properties, but is not recommended for structural application.

VR-40 (Glass-reinforced PPS)

40% glass-reinforced grade. This compound has excellent electrical properties such as high dielectric strength, stable dielectric constant and dissipation factor over a wide range of temperatures, making it the ideal choice for high temperature insulators and interconnecting devices. VR-40 has excellent retention of strength at elevated temperatures offering 490o F HDT, with a continuous use temperature of 458o F. Chemical resistance comparable to fluoropolymers combined with low water absorption and excellent machinability make VR-40 the ideal product for oil service and chemical processing components.

VR-48 (30% Glass, 15% PTFE-reinforced and Lubricated Bearing/Wear Grade PPS)

PPS/30% Glass/15% PTFE. This material has similar mechanical and electrical properties to VR-40 giving high temperature performance up to 458o F with outstanding toughness, offering the highest impact resistance of the PPS family of compounds. Excellent cost/performance value––bearing grade recommended for electrical and mechanical components subjected to mechanical loads and friction.

VR-54 (Injection Molded Glass & Mineral-fiber reinforced PPS)

PPS/Glass/Mineral reinforced. This blend offers high-heat distortion temperature, and low thermal conductivity. VR-54 is ideal for heat insulation applications, sealing, and anti-extrusion devices––making it an excellent Asbestos/Phenolic replacement.

BG-1326 (Carbon-fiber, PTFE lubricated Bearing/Wear Grade PPS)

PPS/Graphite fiber reinforced/PTFE lubricated. Low coefficient of expansion and friction, high HDT, excellent wear and chemical resistance make this compound ideal for friction applications in corrosive environments. This tribological compound of high mechanical properties is ideal for bearing surfaces such as bushings, wear pads, mechanical seals, thrust washers, rod packing, and reciprocating components in pumps, valves and compressors.

Isomide Series - PI
PI-100 (PI)

Unfilled base resin providing maximum mechanical properties, impact resistance and elasticity combined with electrical and thermal insulating characteristics. This compound covers a wide temperature range from -450o F to 580o F continuous with excursions to 750o F for short periods.

PI-200 (15% Graphite-lubricated PI)

15% graphite lubricated composite with improved resistance to wear and low coefficient of friction. Choice grade for un-lubricated bearings, mechanical seals, thrust washers, and pistons over a wide temperature range––from – 450o F up to 600o F continuously, taking 750o F for short periods.

PI-210 (15% Graphite and 5% PTFE-lubricated PI)

15% graphite, 5% PTFE lubricated grade offering the lowest coefficient of friction of bearing and wear surface operation under extreme pressure and velocity over a wide range of temperatures––from cryogenic to 600o F continuously, going up to 750o F for short periods.

PI-220 (20% Graphite-lubricated PI)

20% graphite lubricated compound offers low wear and low coefficient of friction under PV factors up to 130,000 in totally un-lubricated conditions. This has the same wide range of temperature tolerances as the other grades––from -450o F up to 600o F continuously, and up to 750o F on occasion.

PI-230

This glass-filled polyimide is exceptional in low-wear and low coefficient of friction conditions, in addition to a wide range of temperature tolerances––from 450º F up to 600º F continuously, and up to 750 F on occasion.

Pektran Series - PEEK
PR-100 (Unfilled Compression Molded PEEK)

Unreinforced grade molded from 100% virgin resin. Unfilled, PEKTRAN PR provides a well-balanced combination of rigidity, strength, and excellent ductility and impact resistance. PEEK PR-100 is ideal for high resiliency seals, back-up rings, valve seats for harsh and nuclear environments, packing distillation columns, high-temperature, and high-pressure electrical insulators.

PR-32 (30% Glass-fiber Reinforced PEEK)

30% glass fiber reinforced version. By adding glass the material yields a higher tensile and flexural modulus than the unreinforced grade with good retention of properties up to 525o F in a variety of media. PR-32 is excellent for electrical insulators at elevated temperatures and a superior material for anti-extrusion rings for oil tools and hydraulic devices. It is also currently being utilized for cable and hose connectors, heat exchanger parts, gears and transmission devices, and pump and compressor components.

PR-44 (Specialty Glass-fiber PEEK)

Specialty glass fiber filled grade. Designed for maximum property retention at elevated temperatures without a premium. This product is recommended for process engineering applications such as: seals for valves, pumps, compressors, roller clutches, friction bearings, impellers, extrusion sealing devices, and high temperature insulation.

PR-10211 (PTFE/Graphite Lubricated, Carbon-fiber Reinforced Bearing/Wear Grade PEEK)

Compression molded graphite, PTFE lubricated, carbon-fiber reinforced PEEK polymer. This grade provides low- friction, low-wear at elevated temperatures, excellent tribological characteristics at medium load, and speed against metals. Applications: bearings, thrust washers, wear pads, pistons, piston rings, and mechanical seals.

PR-43 (30% Carbon-fiber Reinforced PEEK)

Compression molded 30%, carbon-fiber filled PEEK polymer. Reinforced for maximum improvement (versus glass) in tensile, flexural, and compressive strengths. Flexural modulus is as high as seven times the base resin. As an excellent metal replacement, typical uses are: compressor and pump mechanical devices such as casings, rotors, vanes, valve plates, and high- precision gears with low expansion rates. Other applications include high compression packings and valve seats for critical service such as deep oil wells, petrochemical production, and nuclear plants.

Semikon Series - Semi-conductor Industry Grades
41-ESD (PEI)

Polyetherimide (PEI) polymer product designed for use in the semiconductor industry, offering electrostatic dissipation to preserve sensitive microchip integrity during assembly and manufacturing. Product offers consistent surface resistivity with no or very low initial charge through a wide range of temperatures up to 340 oF providing a path for an electrostatic charge to bleed-off. 41-ESD-CON is a compression molded and fully annealed product with a high degree of dimensional stability during and after machining of intricate components. The product is available in rod, tube and plate.

42-ESD (PEI)

4s ESD is an electrostatic dissipative Polyetherimide (PEI) polymer product designed for static management applications up to 340 oF in the semiconductor and solar-cell industries. The filler package in the Polyetherimide resin imparts high strength and stiffness over a wide temperature range while preventing discharge to or from human contact. 42-ESD is a compression molded, and fully annealed PEI product offering high degree of dimensional stability during and after machining of intricate components. The product is available in rod, tube, and plate.

48-ESD (PEEK)

48-ESD is a static dissipative Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) polymer product designed for static management applications requiring higher thermal performance in an ESD product up to 450-475 oF. Product maintains strength and stiffness, and prevents discharge to or from human contact during assembly and packaging operations. 48-ESD is a compression molded, and fully annealed PEEK product offering high degree of dimensional stability during and after machining of intricate components. The product is available in rod, tube and plate.

T-230-AS (PAI)

T-230-AS is an anti-static fiber reinforced Polyamide-imide polymer product with thermal stability up to 500 oF. The fiber reinforcement offers high stiffness and deformation resistance up to its maximum service temperature. The product provides suppression of electrostatic charging in test sockets, nests, and fixtures in semiconductor and electronic testing equipment. The static dissipative properties, stiffness at temperature, and dimensional stability of T-230-AS makes the product ideal for electronic and semiconductor device handling components. Semikon-T-230-AS is compression molded and fully annealed PAI product with a high degree of dimensional stability during and after machining of intricate components. Symmtamide Series - PAI
T-203 (Unfilled PAI)

Symmtamide T-203 offers the best impact resistance and elongation of the Symmtamide family. The product is most suitable for electrical applications such as connectors, switches, relays, and insulators.

T-201 (Bearing/Wear Grade PAI)

12% graphite-powder, 3% PTFE. Designed for bearing use, this compound provides good wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, and high compressive strength. Typical applications for T-201 include: thrust washers, high-speed bushings, wear-pads, piston rings, and low torque valve seats.

T-247 (Special Bearing/Wear Grade PAI (High-load, low-speed))

Compression molded graphite and PTFE lubricated Poly(Amide-Imide) Polymer. For reciprocating notion bearings subjected to high loads at low speeds, T-247 offers the best wear resistance of the Symmtamide line in compressor and valve components. These applications include piston rings, mechanical seals, and rod packings.

T-240-220 (20% Graphite-powder, 3% PTFE PAI (Low-load, high-speed))

PAI with 20% graphite powder, 3% PTFE. Designed for high-speed wear and friction applications similar to those of T-201, but with better wear performance in wear resistance.

T-230 (30% Glass-fiber, 1% PTFE Reinforced PAI)

30% glass fiber reinforced, 1% PTFE. Designed for a metal replacement, this compound provides high stiffness and retention of properties at elevated temperatures. Typical applications include housings, brackets, compressor poppet valves, plates, pump impellers, rotors, and housings. The material is also excellent for electrical and thermal insulators.

T-230-AS (PAI)
T-230-AS is an anti-static fiber reinforced Polyamide-imide polymer product with thermal stability up to 500 oF. The fiber reinforcement offers high stiffness and deformation resistance up to its maximum service temperature. The product provides suppression of electrostatic charging in test sockets, nests, and fixtures in semiconductor and electronic testing equipment. The static dissipative properties, stiffness at temperature, and dimensional stability of T-230-AS makes the product ideal for electronic and semiconductor device handling components. Semikon-T-230-AS is compression molded and fully annealed PAI product with a high degree of dimensional stability during and after machining of intricate components.
